About the film!
Logline: Reading old letters from your ex opens up old wounds. Vienna healing from a breakup, goes down memory lane reading letters from the past. Both the good and the ugly.
Compared to my first film back in 2024 ( a dark romance), this new film resonates with my real life. Going through multiple hardships last year, this film reflects some of the emotions I've been carrying. Even though the circumstances are different compared to the film, the feelings of doubt, strength, and hope feel familiar. Sometimes the hardest chapters can also be the ones that shape us the most. I'm hoping that people will be able to relate or understand Vienna and see that moving on is just the next step in healing, even when letting go feels impossible.
About the Director!
Hi! My name is Sabrina and I'm a film student from Austin Texas. This semester I'm taking portfolio which is my last film class! I decided to work on another short film to showcase the skills that I have learned over the years. My first film had a lot hurdles, but it was a good learning experience and I feel more prepared and confident to make another one. I hope with this new film it will lead me to greater opportunities and will define my style as a director! 🎥
Where the funds go towards!
All funding will go towards different aspects of the project.
Cast and Crew: Since this is a student project, crew and cast are helping voluntarily, but to show my appreciation for their support, food is a big deal. Food is super important to keep my crew and cast energized throughout our shoots, and it's even more important to have enough to provide for each shoot day.
Locations and Props: I know for some locations I will need to be renting hourly. My main props are the letters that Vienna will be reading.
Extra: Resources: This will include any extra equipment or any other resources that we might need when shooting.
