We’re a group of 20-something filmmakers making our first big leap with Dino Nuggets, a comedy short film about turning something simple and nostalgic into something way too serious. I’m 21, working with a team of peers who keep being told we’re “too young” or “too early” to make something that really stands out. This film is our answer to that.

When I think of Dino Nuggets, I think of childhood, comfort, and cheap, fun food. But in a world where everything feels more expensive and stressful, I asked myself:
What if Dino Nuggets were treated like a Michelin-level dish?
That silly idea became the seed for a comedy about class, taste, and taking life just a little too seriously, told through the most unserious food imaginable.

What the Project Is

Dino Nuggets is a comedy short film about ego, taste, and tiny dinosaur-shaped chicken.

When a man jokingly orders Dino Nuggets at a Michelin-star restaurant, he’s shocked to discover they’re not only real, they’re actually incredible. Obsessed with recreating them at home, he spirals into a journey of failure and humility as he realizes it’s not as simple as throwing frozen nuggets in the oven.
