What if turning on a lamp wasn't the safe choice?

LIGHTS ON is an original supernatural horror feature from filmmaker Frank Palangi, following a mysterious lamp that passes from owner to owner, unknowingly serving as a conduit for an ancient entity known only as Mr. Omar.

Once the lamp is switched on...

he awakens.

This isn't just another haunted house story. It's a psychological supernatural thriller built around atmosphere, suspense, and unforgettable imagery rather than excessive gore but (def some gore will be included!). Inspired by the slow-burning tension of modern horror, LIGHTS ON explores grief, fear, and the terrifying question:

What if the light is what brings the darkness?

Why I'm Making This Film

For years I've independently written, directed, produced, edited, and released original films while continuing my career as an independent recording artist. I have released 10 indie horror films to streaming platforms since 2023 and I don't plan on backing down now.

Every project has been about telling original stories with passion, creativity, and determination.

With LIGHTS ON, my goal is to create my most cinematic and emotionally powerful film yet.

Rather than relying on a massive Hollywood budget, I believe careful cinematography, practical effects, compelling performances, and strong storytelling can create genuine fear.
