Closed Protection is a story I felt called to create because it blends everything I love about film. Real emotion. Real danger. Real romance. Real life choices that force a person to grow or crumble. As a creator, I want to show a powerful vision that highlights vulnerability, strength, love, trauma, and the battle between fame and safety. This film allows me to bring my skills as a director, actor, writer, and storyteller to a new level, and I want the people who believe in me to be part of the journey from the ground up.
This will be the fifth film from Global Minded Demeanor Films. Every movie we have created so far was made with little to no budget. We made miracles with passion, community, and raw creativity. Now we are ready for the next level. A real budget will elevate everything. The acting. The cinematography. The lighting. The wardrobe. The locations. The score. The entire experience on screen. The story follows Vonny, a megastar loved by hundreds of thousands across Instagram, TikTok, movies, music, and modeling. Her fame comes with beauty and attention but also darkness. For years she has experienced strange incidents that feel like an obsessed ultra fan crossing dangerous lines. Things become so unsettling that she must replace her longtime guard. Her assistant searches for someone capable of protecting her at the highest level and discovers Nigel.
Nigel is an ex high ranking CIA agent and former FBI who walked away from protective services after a tragic night he could never forget. During a date with his wife, a robbery went wrong. Nigel defended her, fought back, and shot one of the attackers. Still, he could not save her life. Losing his wife shattered him and made him question the one thing he built his entire identity on. Protection. After that night, he disappeared from the field and drowned in grief. When Vonny’s team reaches out, he accepts out of financial need but also because he feels a chance to reclaim the protector he once was.
Closed Protection is a romantic action thriller filled with layered characters, emotional weight, and a realistic look at celebrity safety, trauma, and the walls people build around their hearts. It is stylish. Cinematic. Full of tension, passion, mystery, and the type of storytelling that stays with you long after the credits roll.

The Team
Closed Protection is led by producer, co director, and actor Devin Robinson. This is my fifth script and fifth film as a producer, and I have acted in over ten films throughout my career. Some projects never came to full release, but the experience shaped my vision and proved one thing. A formal budget will take our work to the next level. The talent is already here. Now we need the resources to elevate that talent and deliver the films I have always envisioned.

Our director is Unique Robinson, a professor at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Unique brings structure, clarity, and a powerful artistic eye that guides the story and helps shape every scene.
Our lead cinematographer is GMDTV who has shot more than seventy five percent of our films alone with no team and no budget, creating cinematic visuals with pure skill and dedication. For horror work we partnered with Mauvlous Films and other photographers who helped bring those darker tones to life.
Our cast includes experienced actors from previous GMD productions along with new talent we are scouting to expand the universe of this film. We also have Daniel Mack scoring the movie and Davon Knox engineering the audio to give Closed Protection a polished, professional sound.

and mastering to deliver a polished film suitable for streaming

Production Plan
Our team is already in place. The script is written. Casting scouts are prepared to bring in new talent. Once funding is secured, we move immediately into pre production, locking down luxury locations, scheduling shoots, finalizing wardrobe, and preparing equipment.
Filming will be structured over a set number of weeks, followed by dedicated time for editing, sound, scoring, and color grading. Our goal is to deliver a finished film with the high end look and feel required for festivals, streaming services, and future distribution.
