WHY FOUR GAMES

The short answer is, we couldn't pick a favorite and all four are ready to go. The longer answer is at the end of this thread... So we're elated to introduce Little Pig Little Pig, Tortilla Takedown, Dice Batter and What's Under Your Bed?.

Little Pig Little Pig is a strategic board game where you race to build three houses—hay, wood, and brick—before your opponents. Navigate a dynamic, ever-changing 5 x 7 tile grid to gather resources, battle other players, and avoid the relentless Big Bad Wolf. With shifting strategies, competitive interactions, and a dash of chaos, it’s a thrilling race to prove who’s the cleverest pig of all!

Here is the "behind-the-scenes" story of Little Pig Little Pig. For several months we worked on the art and went back and forth between cartoony vs. fantasy. In the end we went with an overall fantasy look, but vandalized with a cartoon soul through the "out of place" eye stylings. (If you look on the inside of the lid, we have an artwork graveyard where you can see some of the concepts that just didn't make it.)

We really wanted an interactive box. And came up with the idea to be able to "huff and puff" the roof off to be able to see the characters inside the box. This went through a ton of iterations trying to get it just right. All the while, everything else was pretty much finished as of mid 2024. Under the presumption that finishing up the roof tassels would be done relatively soon, we submitted Little Pig Little Pig to the TAGIE Awards. We figured it would be finished, mass produced and for sale by the time the TAGIEs came around in November 2024.

Production dragged on as we ran into obstacle after obstacle...for example, shrink-wrapping the game would make the fringe melt...and inaccessible. Paper fringe was tearing and falling off. A thicker material looked great and was durable, but couldn't be blown out of the way.

And then the TAGIE Award nominations were announced. We were nominated for Best Design. We had gotten delayed so much that internally we had decided to push back the release to 2025, but now with this nomination, we had to have the game finished. So we rushed it into production enough to have several dozen copies air-shipped to us so we could have it for sale to still qualify for the TAGIE Awards. We barely made it, but made it nonetheless.

And now we're ready to do a full mass production run as we bring Little Pig Little Pig to market. The good news is, there is virtually NO risk in backing the Lethal Chicken Games. And as a bonus, the lead time on it will be really short. By the time the Kickstarter campaign finishes we'll be close to finalizing mass and shipping very shortly after that. (And while we put June as the ship date, the chances of it being before that are VERY high.)

Little Pig Little Pig comes with full-color character stand-ups. However we couldn't resist making some minis as well. Minis are available with the Deluxe Edition game reward (but are limited to the first 100) or are also part of the four-game bundle.

Tortilla Takedown is the ultimate card game where Mexican wrestlers are—wait for it—Mexican foods! Battle it out using combos like Punch, Kick, Slam, Top Rope, and the devastating Mega Takedown Combo to knock down your opponent’s health on the Churrometer. With spicy twists like the Flying Fajita and No Way José cards, this game is a fast-paced fiesta of chaos, strategy, and laughter. Can you pin your foes and claim the Champion Belt? Only one can win, and it’s probably not going to be the guac.

Dice Batter is the ultimate baking battle! Roll your dice, place them strategically on cookie sheets, and bump your opponents’ dice to claim the best spots. But the real fun starts when the dice go into the mixing bowl! Stir them up, scoop one out, and roll to score points. With every turn, you’re closer to becoming the master chef—just don’t let anyone snatch your recipe for victory. First to 20 points wins this fast-paced, family-friendly game of sweet strategy and a dash of chaos!

What’s under your bed? Monsters! In this fast-paced card game, match, steal, and stack your way to building the biggest monster pile and claiming victory! Play cards to snag piles from other players or unleash special action cards like Steal, Split, and Switch to shake things up. With every turn, the piles grow and tensions rise. Will you have the largest monster hoard by the end? Find out in this monstrously fun battle for the boldest bedtime hero!

So, Why Four Games?

Here's the longer version of the story. We started working on Little Pig Little Pig about a year and a half ago. As we were developing this, there was a lot of hurry up and wait. Artwork took time, trying to figure out packaging was a beast and we really wanted to come up with something fun and innovative both in gameplay as well as packaging to make it stand out.

At Lethal Chicken Games we're a two-man company. So as Mike wrapped up the mechanics on Little Pig Little Pig, Alex would take over and implement the packaging we had come up with. But while this was happening, Mike would get restless and a new game would be born.

Little Pig Little Pig would get handed off to manufacturing so that they could get us costs, prototypes, component layouts, etc. And next thing you know, we were working on the next game while waiting on manufacturing. Repeated and repeated.

Next thing you know, we have five games, with five prototypes all getting wrapped up at the same time. And if you've created ANYTHING, many times picking a favorite is like picking a favorite child.

So instead of launching multiple Kickstarters or just sitting on the games, we thought it would be fun to just combine them all into one big party pack. The fifth game is dragging it's feet as we're still trying to nail the box so that one has to wait. But here are our four games we've been working on for the past year and a half and we couldn't be more excited. And if you've read this all the way to the end...thank you so much!
