I have a vision of a world where D&D players get together and have fun, immersive experiences, with devices far from the table so we can focus on what matters most - connection.
That's why I've made a set of stylish, helpful, print at home player aids to support your adventures.
Print stylish player aids for all D&D classes at home on a color printer
These let you play YOUR characters without breaking the 4th wall, so you can remain fully immersed in the game, and give you everything you need to understand and play your character, so you can leave your devices at home and concentrate on the game and your fellow players.
A Custom Character Journal lets you make the perfect Journal to fit YOUR character, regardless of how many classes they have.
Example Character Journal - Brunhilde the Barbarian - showing Barbarian abilities tracker pages
Even Ginny Di had something to say about it!
A Custom Spell Tome lets you make a Tome to store the spells YOUR character has, and organize them in the best way for YOU.
Spell Tome I'm using for my character Seraphina Mystraia, Arcana Cleric
Class Trackers help you remain immersed in the game and track abilities for YOUR characters.
Example Class Tracker - Pablo the Paladin, showing back of trackers for (left to right) Monk, Cleric, Druid, Bard, Barbarian, and Paladin classes
A Defenses Tracker lets you track YOUR character's defenses and hit points (and I'm offering this one for FREE, go get it!).
Defenses Tracker I used for Bad Moon Rising (Moon), my Bloodhunter
I created every one of these player aids to provide as much help and guidance as I can to help new players, kids, and everyone understand the rules and make play EASY. Infographics, tables, and rules text snippets mean you can keep the Player's Handbook on your bookshelf while you play (and while we're on the subject, check out my free printable reference cards on my website).
Player aids come with rules reminders to help understand D&D - for example, the Sorcerer tracker (and Journal insert) include infographics to show how Sorcery point conversion works
YOUR characters, YOUR hands, YOUR player aids. You can customize, print and assemble my player aids at home with a color printer and thick paper or card stock (e.g. 180 gsm). Class Trackers are intended to be laminated, and Journals and Tomes need to be bound. For more information on what's needed, see the FAQs tab.
Before I started making D&D player aids, I spent a lot of time cross-stitching, and I love crafting in general. Making a Journal, Tome, or Tracker is a fun project for anyone with crafty fingers, and a great project to share with kids. You can learn how to make Journals in a series of helpful videos here.
The Character Journal and Spell Tome are heavily customizable. Both come with lots of options for cover graphics (over 300 for the Journal, over 100 for the Tome, and you can mix and match between the two!).
Choose from over 300 covers for the Character Journal (in 12 class themes), and over 100 for the Spell Tome (in 4 spell type themes)
The Journal comes with unique, dedicated class inserts for each D&D class to let you track abilities for that class, and supports YOUR character no matter how many classes they have!
The Tome lets you organize your spells in the best way for YOU, letting you organize spells by casting class, spell level, casting time, and/or ritual spells.
To me, the heart and soul of TTRPGs is connection. That's why I let you use my products to print player aids for friends, family, and fellow adventurers, too (just don't share the files, unless it's with your kids).

Hi, I'm Dan. I have loved roleplaying games since I first saw my cousin playing Baldur's Gate in 1998, and I've since loved playing (in one form or another), and sometimes running games, in every version of D&D since Advanced D&D (2nd Edition).
In recent years, I have made it my mission to make D&D easy to learn and easy to play, and in others ways support adventurers getting the most from their games. One way I do this is through my print at home player aids. I love crafting almost as much as I do roleplaying, and I love sharing the joy of crafting with others. I also produce videos on YouTube and other social media platforms to provide hints and tips for new and experienced adventurers alike. I'm active on most social media platforms, and I'd love to connect!
Thanks for taking the time to look at my project. If you want to stay up to date with everything DanDMadeEasy, I'd love to connect. Catch me on:

What do I need to make my player aids at home?
You’ll need the appropriate PDF files, access to a color printer, thick paper e.g. 160 gsm, and a pair of scissors.
For Class Trackers, you’ll also need access to a laminator and laminating pouches if you want to laminate your Trackers.
For booklets (Spell Tome, Character Journal), you’ll also need tools or peripherals to bind your booklets, depending on how you choose to bind them (see How do I bind my booklets?).
Will I be able to print player aids on my home printer?
If it's a color printer, yes! Alignment instructions are included for pages that require it, and PDFs are provided with a range of offsets so you can get the best print regardless of your printer’s alignment. For reference, I have tested printing my player aids on an ancient HP Deskjet 2542 and a modern Canon Maxify GX 6050.
How do I assemble class trackers?
Class Trackers are easy to assemble.
First, you’ll identify your printing alignment (you only need to do this once per printer you use to print any DanDMadeEasy print at home products).
Then, you’ll fill in any PDF fields you want to fill (e.g. character name, cantrips, domain spells, but many choose not to fill pages to make trackers fully reusable), print the corresponding front and back pages on thick paper (e.g. 160 gsm) and cut the printed page to the right size.
Next, you’ll laminate the tracker and cut the excess laminate plastic.
How do I prepare booklets (Character Journal, Spell Tome)?
First, you’ll identify your printing alignment (you only need to do this once per printer you use to print any DanDMadeEasy print at home products).
Then, you’ll choose the pages you want to include, make copies of the files, and add any PDF fields you want to add.
Next, you’ll print the corresponding front and back pages on thick paper (e.g. 160 gsm) and cut the printed pages to the right size.
Then, you’ll bind your booklet using your chosen binding method (see How do I bind my booklets?).
Finally, you’ll fill any remaining information you need to fill before you can use your booklet (e.g. availability of abilities in the Character Journal).
Videos of the process for creating a Character Journal are available on my YouTube channel. The process for creating is mostly similar, it’s just a little different selecting and prepared pages.
After filling information with a dry wipe marker, you’ll be ready to go!
How do I bind my booklets?
I recommend using one of 4 different methods for binding booklets and provide detailed instructions for each. These methods have been selected to not reduce the visible area for text on interior pages, and generally to make it easy to update booklets after first creating them.
The methods are:
1) Comb binding (used in most of my photos and
videos), which requires a comb binding machine and binding
combs.
2) Click binding, which requires a hole punch and click
binding spines.
3) Spiral binding, which requires a hole punch
and binding spirals.
4) String binding, which requires a hole
punch and some string.
I provide recommended buying options for tools and peripherals for each binding method.
Videos are available showing how to bind a Character Journals using a couple of the binding methods on my YouTube channel.
Can I add extra pages to my booklets (Character Journal/Spell Tome) after I create them?
Yes, my products are designed with this in mind.
How easy it is to add extra pages to your booklets depends on which binding method you use (see How do I bind my booklets). Click binding makes it easiest, string binding takes the longest, but it’s straightforward regardless of which of the recommended methods you use.
Can covers for the Character Journal be used for the Spell Tome and vice versa?
Yes, they’re the same size, so you can mix and match covers you have available however you want! I’d lightly recommend that you may want to make booklets that look different to each other, though, so it’s easy to know whether it’s your Journal or Spell Tome you’re about to open!
How will print at home files be delivered?
When you purchase reward(s), you should receive an email from Crowdfundr with download links to access player aids. Files are permanently hosted, so you'll be able to download your products whenever you like.
NOTE: Class Tracker files are located in different locations. If you get Class Trackers as a reward, follow the links provided to download files for each Tracker.
You can use the Print at Home files to print as many Class Trackers, Character Journals or Spell Tomes as you want to support yourself and fellow players.
You can't sell any printed player aids you create. You can't share the Print at Home files with anyone else, except children that you’re the parent or legal guardian of.
