A QUICK HISTORY
Years ago, the creators of Outer Spaced sat outside of a record store they worked at in Austin, Texas and thought of a simple, albeit silly, idea:
What if two stoners were drafted into an alien war and, as chance would have it, they ended up being Earth's last best hope?
Fast-forward fifteen years...
Introducing OUTER SPACED #1, an ongoing stoner sci-fi comic book series created by Ben Collins and Eric Allred, with art by Jacqui Venturini.
THE STORY
Blindsided by an alien invasion from beyond the stars, nations unite and instate a global draft as humanity's last stand. Such is the fate of two burnouts, drafted into the Global Space Force’s S.O.L.E. SQUAD F. Undertrained, unqualified and a little high, Moses Kelly and Korey Nixon are just two of the many draftees ill-prepared for any sort of social interaction, let alone intergalactic warfare!
The story of a ragtag crew with something to prove? How original.
Yeah, okay, maybe there is a point though -- something we’re trying to say…
Legalize it?
No, no, no --
Stronger together?
Closer.
Korey and Moses must evade and survive the ranks of the Space Force, thwart an alien invasion, and find out the true intentions of our own government agencies seeking to exploit Earth’s ancient secrets.

OUTER SPACED: season one will unfold in a trio of three-issue "mini-arcs," plus we are rollin' up a fatty of a finale in a bonus TENTH ISSUE!
Outer Spaced is our chance to explore, homage and celebrate the influences the shaped us; be it music, film, video games, comic books, or even sports. Nothing is off limits!
This book is truly a labor of love, a passion project that we
just wanted to get out in to the world. We hope you will join us on
this cosmic comic adventure -- boy, that's a mouthful.

FUNDING
All contributions to this campaign will go towards distribution of the comics, paying our fantastic artist and promotional costs to set the stage for the bigger and better ISSUE TWO CAMPAIGN -- coming later this year! Writer/Co-creator/Letterer: Ben Collins
Based in the Ozarks of Northwest Arkansas, Ben graduated from the University of Arkansas studying media communications and journalism. Seinfeld aficionado and a drinker of black coffee, Ben is a proud ambassador for the under-appreciated medium of comics. He is a writer, a letterer, a pet-father of four and and a longtime beard bearer. As of this writing, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) logs in, possibly, as Ben’s favorite movie of all time. Ninja, vanish.
Writer/Co-creator: Eric Allred
An introvert by nature, a Sagittarius by birth, a husband by marriage and a watch wearer by choice. Currently residing in Austin, TX, Eric is a Filmmaker, Writer, Procrastinator, and Beagle Dad. A lover of nature, caffeine and carrier of a crippling fear of the future. Born a Midwesterner, he is an avid Chicago sports fan, a firm believer of Aliens & lover of sourdough bread (both baking and consuming). Amongst other things he is a wearer of glasses.
Artist/Cover Artist: Jacqui Venturini
An Illustrator, Designer and Comic Artist based in Sicily, Jacqui is self taught and wildly imaginative. Her unique style is a blend of cosmic wonder and harsh reality. Her off the wall art pulls the reader along on a visual trip with vibrant colors and a cheeky sense of humor. Truly from another planet, Jacqui's art and Outer Spaced make for one wicked psychedelic adventure.
