After driving for both Uber and Lyft for the past five and a half years and being both a Diamond and Platinum driver, I decided to write a book about my journey as a award winning Rider Preferred Rideshare Driver. As I transition from being a full time driver recently ranked (2022) among the top 10% in the United States by Uber to an aspiring Author and Motivational Speaker, I am preparing for the release of my first book “Uber to Arizona” (The journey of a Rideshare Driver).

This book is about my journey as not only a driver but as a full time caregiver for my mother who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2018. “Uber to Arizona” tells the ups and downs of driving in Las Vegas, Nevada and how being a driver allowed me to care for mother until her death in 2019. I also share my wonderful relocation to Arizona story and additionally, I provide some very valuable tips for both drivers and riders. 

In anticipation for my upcoming book release in November 2022, I will be going on a book writing and networking tour beginning on September 22, 2022. The tour will take place in Phoenix, San Diego, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Dallas and Houston. In each of these cities I will attend the Small Business Expo and connect with small business owners to create new networking opportunities for future book tour promotions and events for motivational speaking engagements. In each city one day will be spent writing to complete 2 other books that I am currently writing which are scheduled to be released next year. My goal is to become a #1 Bestselling Author and Motivational Speaker to encourage others to pursue their dreams and lead positive thinking lives filled with love, peace, joy and happiness. As a former concert promoter and publicist, I’m certain that there is a audience of young millennials (and older folks) that will be inspired by both my book and speeches.

At this time, I am confirmed as a registered SBE attendee in each city and some flights have been confirmed. My fundraiser campaign has been created to help with the following costs: airline tickets, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, meals, writing materials, promotional products, graphic designs, wardrobe, photo shoots and the completion of my website and online media presence. 

I am sure that anyone reading this has been in or knows someone who has used a ride sharing service at some point in the last few years.
