MANKEKURA — Memoria de la Piedra y visión del Cóndor
Te invito a ver el video para conocer la historia de Mankekura y el viaje detrás de estos cantos. Lo puedes ver en la parte de arriba de este texto.
Soy Piera, cantora y compositora chilena, caminante y aprendiz de la vida.
La música llegó a mi vida como un profundo camino de sanación y crecimiento espiritual, y comparto mi voz con el propósito de sembrar consciencia y armonía para nuestros tiempos.
Durante años he recorrido distintos territorios de América, conectando con sus memorias, sus espíritus y la sabiduría originaria de sus pueblos, tejiendo puentes entre la memoria ancestral y nuestro mundo contemporáneo.
Mankekura significa “la Piedra del Cóndor” en la lengua originaria del pueblo Mapuche: un encuentro entre la memoria y la visión, entre eso que nos precede y lo que queremos crear.
Así nace esta ofrenda de cantos, inspirados entre las altas cumbres de los Andes y los bosques del Sur, en conexión con la Madre Naturaleza y con mis propios recorridos internos.
Te invito a ser parte del nacimiento de este tercer álbum que pronto estará disponible en plataformas de manera gratuita para toda la comunidad.

¿QUÉ ES UN CROWDFUNDING? EL PODER DE LA COMUNIDAD
Un crowdfunding es una forma de hacer posible un proyecto a través del apoyo colectivo de una comunidad.
Para mí, es una forma contemporánea de algo que en América conocemos como la minga: un esfuerzo compartido donde muchas personas se unen para manifestar una visión común, en este caso, artística y espiritual.
Y como todo es ayni —reciprocidad—, preparé diferentes ofrendas para agradecer a quienes decidan apoyar este proyecto: música, arte, encuentros, experiencias y otros regalos preparados con mucho cariño.
¿POR QUÉ UNA MINGA PARA ESTE DISCO?
Crear un álbum es un proceso hermoso que implica mucho tiempo, dedicación, creatividad y recursos, y que reúne el trabajo de músicos, productores, técnicos y artistas que hacen posible que las canciones lleguen a tu oído y corazón.
A pesar de que hoy la música circula más que nunca a través de las plataformas digitales, la realidad es que quienes la creamos recibimos un porcentaje mínimo del valor que esta genera. Eso hace difícil que la producción musical sea sostenible, sobre todo para artistas independientes.
Antiguamente, el arte y la música eran valorados como una parte esencial del bienestar común: como memoria, rezo, cultura, educación, expresión y conexión.
En tiempos donde todo va tan rápido y tantas cosas se vuelven artificiales, siento importante que sigamos apoyando el arte y la música independiente, humana y orgánica, aquella que nos conecta con nuestras raíces.

El propósito es reunir €8.888 para contribuir a las distintas etapas y a las personas que hacen posible el nacimiento de Mankekura:

Independientemente del monto total recaudado, todo lo recibido será destinado a hacer posible este álbum.
Si no alcanzamos la meta completa, seguiré buscando otras formas de reunir los recursos que falten. Aun así, confío en que la suma de cada granito de arena será suficiente.

MANKEKURA — The Memory of the Stone and Vision of the Condor
I invite you to watch the video of this campaign to discover the story of Mankekura and the journey behind these songs.
I’m Piera, a Chilean singer and songwriter, a traveler and an apprentice of life.
Music came into my life as a profound path of healing and spiritual growth, and I share my voice with the purpose of planting seeds of consciousness and harmony for our times.
For many years, I have traveled through different territories of the Americas, connecting with their memories, their spirits, and the ancestral wisdom of their peoples, weaving bridges between ancient memory and our contemporary world.
Mankekura means “the Stone of the Condor” in the ancestral language of the Mapuche people: an encounter between memory and vision, between what came before us and what we want to create.
This is how this offering of songs was born, inspired by the high peaks of the Andes and the forests of the South, in connection with Mother Nature and with my own inner journeys.
I invite you to be part of the birth of this third album, which will soon be available on streaming platforms, free for the whole community to listen to.
Some of the songs from Mankekura have already begun to take flight. I invite you to listen and, through them, enter into the frequency of this new album.
WHAT IS CROWDFUNDING? THE POWER OF COMMUNITY
Crowdfunding is a way of bringing a project to life through the collective support of a community.
For me, it is a contemporary expression of something we know in the Americas as minga: a collective effort where many people come together to manifest a shared vision — in this case, an artistic and spiritual one.
And because everything is ayni — reciprocity —, I have prepared different offerings to thank those who choose to support this project: music, art, gatherings, experiences, and other gifts prepared with much love.
WHY A MINGA FOR THIS ALBUM?
Creating an album is a beautiful process that requires a great deal of time, dedication, creativity, and resources. It brings together the work of musicians, producers, sound engineers, and artists who make it possible for these songs to reach your ears and your heart.
Even though music circulates more than ever today through digital platforms, the reality is that those of us who create it receive only a very small percentage of the value it generates. This makes music production difficult to sustain, especially for independent artists.
In the past, art and music were valued as an essential part of our collective wellbeing: as memory, prayer, culture, education, expression, and connection.
In times when everything moves so quickly and so many things are becoming artificial, I feel it is important that we continue to support independent, human, and organic art and music — the kind that connects us with our roots.
