Please join us in supporting VAM’s journey to the world’s largest performing arts festival, the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival! VAM will be sending their resident dance company, Suitcase Dance Theatre, as ambassadors! As they represent the creative spirit of our community on the international stage, your contribution will not only enable them to embark on this exhilarating journey, where they’ll immerse themselves in a tapestry of cultural exchange and artistic exploration, but also pave the way for the VAM’s Global Dance Initiative to create partnerships and a pathway for future international, life-changing dance experiences for VAM Studios’ dancers.
Beyond the spectacle of performance, this transformative odyssey ignites personal growth and enriches artistic vision, fostering collaboration with artists worldwide and providing invaluable insights into different creative processes and cultural perspectives. Your generosity will benefit the individual dancers/performers and also the greater community of VAM and Seattle, as the dancers return home inspired and forever transformed by the magic of their time abroad, ready to share their energy, enthusiasm, and knowledge from the experience. - Fundraise $20,000 to cover travel expenses, accommodation, and production costs for Suitcase DT's participation in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
- Support the launch of VAM Studios' Global Dance Initiative, fostering international connections and providing current and future life-changing experiences for dancers in the Pacific Northwest.
- Bringing social benefit to society on both local and global levels by creating opportunities for local artists that strengthen artistic connections, cultural exchange and artistic growth.
