I am a SURVIVOR of CHILDHOOD SEXUAL ABUSE from the age of 5 years old till I was 11 years old. I have struggled with all kinds of issues in my everyday life that have been linked directly to the childhood trauma. I have been diagnosed with PTSD, Anxiety Disorder, Agoraphobia, and depression just to name a few. All of them stemming from the sexual abuse. Not to mention trust issues with almost everyone! 

I am a disabled father of 2 teenagers and I have been married to the most amazing woman a man could ask for. We recently had our 16th anniversary. My wife is also my 24/7 caregiver so she is not able to work outside our home. My wife is also a survivor of childhood sexual abuse.

I have a YouTube channel called Get2Know_STOP that the main focus is to get the law's and penalties changed to harsher penalties for the parasites who commit these crimes. We also focus on bringing AWARENESS about Childhood Sexual Abuse.

I don't think that ANYONE besides the parents/guardian should be teaching Sexual Abuse Awarness to children regardless of the child's age or grade level. I hate to say it but more and more teachers are becoming the abuser! 

Thinking back on my childhood I can't recall my parent's talking to me about sexual abuse and that was the same for most parents from 40+ years ago. Maybe they didn't talk to me about it because it was "embarrassing" or they didn't know how or maybe they didn't have any tools on how to talk about it. I know that if they would have educated me about it then the likelihood of me writing this right now would be slim to none.

I am seeking funding for a few different project ideas like a board game for the younger children ages 3-10 years old that will make it easier for parents and less "embarrassing" on both the parent and child as well. 

For the older age group of children who are age 11-16 years old I want to put information packets together that are age appropriate for each individual age and these would be sealed packets that would be sent home with each student for their parent/guardian to open and share with their child. The information in these packets would include but not limited to ways to talk to their kid's about sexual abuse, the signs of sexual abuse, and numbers they can reach out to if their child was being sexually abused. I also have a short story series that I am working on that covers all kinds of abuse from sexual, to physical, to even being bullied and what you should do if you fall in one of these categories of abuse. 

Anyone who donates to my project will get the reward of knowing that because of their donation they helped save a child who may currently be being abused and the child who was not abused because of the information being put out their that other wise would have been sexually abused.
