Welcome to Shardscape, an RPG game about loss, friendship, and betrayal..
You're Lily, a young teenage girl who lives on the average.
Commuting to school, helping out around the house, and viciously
loving her cat Ryo, not much goes on around there.
During embarking on the mystical journey buying groceries
things seem strange, the lights are dim and the store is quite
empty, you pay it no mind and continue collecting said groceries,
but suddenly you're snatched up and taken somewhere... where? No
one knows... well except the people you are being taken by.
Luckily, you'll find out soon enough.
Welcome to Ruinfall, you seem to be stuck in a... not
so-beautiful world, with not-so-beautiful people. A once bustling
town is now rundown and ran by military organizations and
gangbangers. You aren't too thrilled about this new habitat, in
fact, you have a mental breakdown the second you wake up. After
snapping out of it, you have an impulse decision to buy some
groceries from the gas station. You walk in and meet a girl, named
Sophie. Sophie seems to be the only normal person there and was
subject to your kidnapping as well. After some awkward moments,
you come to like her, and you both find a way out. Unfortunately,
you have no idea how. After a quick tour around the
"neighborhood," you run into some goons.
They have your amulet!
A family relic of yours passed down from your grandparents,
and their grandparents, and so on. It's broken into
shards!
You fight with the goons until you find it back, the amulet
lights up and points below, and you learn that the amulet might be
your way out! Unfortunately, it's in the sewer, thanks to the goons.
After 3 more thrilling journeys, you find the last 3 pieces of
your amulet and need to find one more, but things take a turn.
Sophie doesn't want you to go, she starts to be hesitant on the
journey continuing... you soon come to realize things may not be
what you thought they were. You set out to venture alone and come
across a hidden base, after many vicious battles you finally find
the last piece, but someone is there to stop you... someone you
know, someone you love.
The long, long journey you've made along the way is coming to
a close, but not the way you wanted it to be. Now it's your job to
turn it upside down.
