This summer, we have the extraordinary opportunity to sing the lead roles of Figaro and Susanna in Mozart’s masterpiece The Marriage of Figaro in Vienna — the very city where the opera premiered in 1786.

For two young opera singers who share a life and a dream together, this opportunity is nothing short of life-changing.

We are a recently married couple who met several years ago while performing in an opera festival. From the very beginning, music was what brought us together. What started as a shared passion quickly became a shared life goal: to build careers as professional opera singers in Europe.

Now, that dream is becoming real.

We have been invited to participate in a Young Artist Development Program in Vienna, where we will perform the roles of Figaro and Susanna — one of the most beloved couples in all of opera. Programs like this are essential stepping stones for emerging artists, offering invaluable performance experience, professional training, and connections within the European opera world.

For young singers, opportunities like this can open doors that shape an entire career.

However, participating in the program requires us to cover several major expenses, including:
