What if someone you loved never truly left?

Still Here is an intimate short film set inside a shared apartment where the familiar rhythms of home begin to feel slightly unfamiliar. As Millie moves though everyday rituals with her husband- laughter, music, and quiet conversation- subtle cracks begin to appear in the ordinary, revealing that some presences linger longer than expected.

Why this story matters to me?

I am making this film at a transitional moment in my life. Like many people, I have experienced what it feels like to leave versions of myself behind - moving  between apartments, cities, relationships, and dreams. This story lives in that exact moment- standing at the door, knowing you must move forward even when part of you wants to stay. I am making this film now because I recognize that feeling deeply. And I believe many people do too.

The vision: 
This film is designed to be intimate, emotional, and actor-driven. The entire story takes place inside a single apartment, allowing the audience to feel like they are witnessing something deeply personal. Through small everyday moment, the film slowly builds toward a quiet and emotional reveal. The tone is warm, nostalgic, and delicate capturing the feeling of memory itself.

Why we are Crowdfunding?

We are an independent team bringing this story to life with limited resources. Your support will help us gather the artists, equipment, and space needed to create this intimate world of the film.
