SYNOPSIS:
Sophie
Bennett is a determined and successful marketing executive. When her
firm decides to eliminate
her position, she is devastated. A
global economic turndown has caused her firm to make cuts including
her position. As she sulks in her misery, the creative juices
take over and Sophie recognizes an
opportunity and goes for it.
She sees a news report of television that shows that brides are having
trouble finding and keeping bridal party members due to the
economic crisis. Sofie decides to follow her
hunch and fill the
void. Marketing herself as a fill-in bride’s maid, Sophie becomes the
in-demand
commodity for well-to-do brides. However, when she
meets Hannah McDermitt, her world changes and
the love of her
life comes out of nowhere at Hannah’s wedding. Sloan McDermitt,
Hannah’s brother, is
a career Army Captain, coming to surprise
his baby sister for her wedding. He immediately is stricken by
Sophie and begins to pursue her. Hannah’s Southern Belle mother,
Gabrielle McDermitt (Gabby), is
thrilled to see her children
together for the first time in years and notices the spark between
sweet
Sophie and her son Sloan. Is love in the cards for Sophie?
