I'm Kristijan Jočić, a film and television directing graduate student, and I'm thrilled to share an exciting project with you. Our team is embarking on the creation of a captivating short animated film, which will be my crowning achievement as I graduate from the academy.

THE STORY:
"Ivan's Star" is a deeply emotional story that explores the inner struggle of an elderly man, Ivan, who is facing the loss of his beloved. Lonely and heartbroken, Ivan finds solace in watching a single star that he believes represents his deceased wife. Through his eyes, we see a mix of sadness, nostalgia, and hope as he reminisces about happy moments spent with her. As the end approaches, Ivan confronts the central question: is his connection to the star merely a product of his imagination or a real connection to the soul of his loved one? Through his inner struggle, the film takes us on a journey through deep emotions and the search for meaning in a world of loss and loneliness. In the end, Ivan makes a decision that will define his understanding of love, life, and eternity.
This was just a brief overview of our film, but of course, we won't give away details to pique your interest in what we're preparing. However, we guarantee you that the story will be very emotional, yet fulfilling.
Premiere of the movie if everything goes well is planned for end of december 2024!

In the next segment, we'll talk about the budget and where all the money goes. As most of you already know, animation is expensive. We, as students, are crazy enough to venture into such a thing, but we have faith that with your support, we can make this happen.
