I am a mother on a mission—a mission to share my story of resilience, healing, and the fight for justice. My upcoming book, “Unusual Strengths,” is a deeply personal account of my experiences growing up in a tumultuous environment, facing trauma, and ultimately discovering the strength within me to advocate for my children.
Like many, my childhood was marked by instability. I grew up in a home affected by addiction and absence, experiencing hardships that no child should endure. Despite these challenges, I promised myself that my children would not face the same fate. However, life threw me another curveball when I discovered that my son was being abused by his biological father.
