The ability to give people without many resources the chance to share their voice is a precious gift that should be more readily available. Our names are Rose Claire Siegel and Johnny Robaina, and we are filmmakers looking to raise funding for our next project, a romantic comedy film entitled Holy Indecent. We have festival experience with previous projects (including premieres at BAFF and International Film Festival Manhattan), and we are extremely excited about the potential of this film, as it is a push into subjects and themes that we feel are meaningful, as well as a significant step forward in terms of our artistic ambition.

Holy Indecent is the story of Carey Klein and Emma Cohen, two transplants to L.A. who fall in love while attending a Christian youth group, where they both attempt to pass themselves off as devout Christians in order to make friends. Our story examines social isolation, grief, and budding romance, and we are hoping to create a funny and ultimately optimistic film in the vein of Swingers or Midnight in Paris.

Once we hit our fundraising goal, we will assemble a passionate group of professionals to bring this script to life. We will allocate our budget to casting our film with seasoned actors, hiring crew, and renting studio spaces for filming around the L.A. area. Your support would not only contribute to creating meaningful art, but will improve our ability to contend for distribution following a festival run.
