If you are reading this you probably are a very good friend or considered family and understand my passion for life, community, food, distilling and the ocean. Some will tell you they find it inspiring, but at the end of the day “I’m just Paul”.

 Award winning film makers Cassidy and Odin want to tell my story in a cinematic way to accomplish 2 main things, inspire others and provide help where it’s really needed in communities for kids and families in Key West and the Florida Keys. This will be done by doing a documentary called “The Salt Cured Life” which will play at film festivals all over the United States as well as Europe. Each venue it will raise money for the “under dog” local charity I like to call it.

I have no ego, this is way bigger than me, but I have a big heart and my dream is to express this life that a lot of you already live that’s why we know each other. 
The goal is that this is shown at film festivals and is used to raise money for kids and families that are in need in Key West and the Florida keys. A lot of these groups are not the “popular” ones to donate to and really need help for what they do which is amazing.

You may be asking “ Paul why not fund this yourself?” The simple answer is I don’t want to take away from donation commitments we have already made for 2024 for to help many different charities. This film could help increase what could be raised for 2024 and 2025 and beyond. If you would like to contribute more than what we ask please do so, we want to keep this to a close knit family and something we will ALL be proud of!

So, what’s in it for you? RUM of course! I will release a special barrel that is my personal barrel from when I started Key West legal Rum 10 years ago that’s a one off and I consider extremely rare! Is this tax deductible? No, but the Rum is very drinkable or will make a great investment to sell later if you so choose.

Why the filming style is so unique:

through also using impactful
visual storytelling through lighting
and great film equipment and sound design.
