Hi, we’re Tiago and Moiz.
Tiago is building BDO from Brazil. He leads the management side of the game: the simulation, long-term systems, player experience, and the decisions that shape a fighter’s entire career.
Moiz is working from Pakistan. He is currently building BDO’s 3D Fight Night system in Three.js, turning everything the manager does before a fight into something players can see inside the ring.
Most of BDO has been built through messages, long discussions, and builds passed back and forth across an eight-hour time difference.
We’re two programmers, but we share the same frustration: we could never find a boxing management game that treated fighters like people with entire careers, rather than ratings waiting for the next result.
So we decided to build it.
From a small prototype to a real game
BDO began as a rough browser prototype in June 2026.
It wasn’t beautiful, but it was playable. Instead of hiding it until everything looked finished, we released it on itch.io and began developing it publicly.
Our devlogs show that progress. The original prototype has grown into a game with fighter generation, training, aging, personalities, morale, injuries, academies, staff, contracts, finances, rankings, titles, Fight Night, and a competitive world where rival academies build careers of their own.
There is still a lot to improve, but the foundation exists and the public alpha can be played today.
This campaign is not asking people to fund an idea and hope that we can make it work. We have already started proving that we can.
The boxing manager we wanted to play
In BDO, you don’t throw the punches. You manage the career that leads to them.
You scout prospects without knowing exactly how good they might become. You plan training and recovery, hire staff, manage contracts and finances, choose opponents, prepare fight camps, and make tactical decisions from the corner.
A safe fight might protect an undefeated record but slow a fighter’s rise. A dangerous opportunity could create a champion or undo years of careful development.
Pushing a prospect harder may produce faster results, but fatigue, injury, and accumulated damage could follow them for the rest of their career.
BDO is not designed around comparing two overall ratings. Styles, preparation, condition, experience, Fight IQ, personality, fatigue, and controlled uncertainty all matter.
Some prospects will become champions. Some will never reach their potential. Others will surprise everyone.
Eventually, every fighter ages and retires.
Their academy remains, carrying its titles, rivalries, failures, and history into the next generation.
Bringing those decisions into the ring
Moiz is already building the underlying 3D Fight Night system. It is active development, not a distant stretch goal.
BDO is still a management game. Players will not directly control every punch. What happens inside the ring should reflect the decisions made outside it.
Fighting styles, preparation, fatigue, damage, injuries, and corner tactics will influence how each fight develops.
Programming can build that system, but bringing it to production quality also requires 3D models, rigging, animation, arenas, equipment, effects, audio, and extensive testing.
That is one of the places where campaign funding can make an immediate, visible difference.
The honest limit of a two-person team
We have built BDO with our own time and the resources available to us.
That independence allowed us to move quickly, experiment, listen to players, and keep control of the game’s direction. It has also created an honest bottleneck.
Two programmers can build deep systems. We cannot simultaneously replace professional artists, 3D modelers, animators, sound designers, testers, video creators, and every other specialist the game needs.
Every hour spent trying to cover another profession is an hour taken away from developing and improving the game itself. The alternative is leaving important parts unfinished or temporary for much longer than they should be.
We don’t want to pretend we can do everything alone, and we don’t want to ask talented contributors to work without being paid fairly.
This campaign is designed to close that gap.
It is not about making the roadmap endlessly bigger. It is about making the game already underway deeper, clearer, more alive, and more polished.
What your support will change
Campaign funding will be tied to concrete production milestones from our existing roadmap.
Supporters will help us create:
- original fighters, academies, equipment, and environments with a recognizable identity;
- a 3D Fight Night where preparation, styles, fatigue, and tactics visibly matter;
- better animations, arenas, effects, music, and sound;
- an interface that makes deep management understandable without removing its depth;
- more events, interactions, and decisions with lasting consequences;
- stronger onboarding for new players;
- better balancing, performance, testing, and more reliable builds;
- professional trailers and promotional material that can help the game reach its audience.
The amount raised will determine how many milestones we can responsibly complete. We will show where the money goes, what is being worked on, and what has been delivered.
What supporters receive
Depending on the selected tier, planned rewards include:
- a copy of the game;
- early beta access;
- exclusive development updates;
- access to a private supporter area on Discord;
- credits inside the game;
- cosmetic gloves, skins, and other visual items;
- moderated opportunities to name a fighter or academy in the game world.
Supporter-created fighters will still receive randomized attributes and potential. They might become champions, have average careers, or never reach the top.
Paying more will never guarantee success.
BDO will never sell attributes, potential, victories, rankings, titles, faster development, injury recovery, or any other competitive advantage.
Supporters will help us build the game, not buy power inside it.
Help us build the next stage
We’re proud of how far two programmers from Brazil and Pakistan have already taken BDO. We’re also honest about what the project now needs to become the game we believe it can be.
You don’t have to take our word for it. You can play the alpha, read our public devlogs, and see the work already happening.
If you have also been waiting for a boxing management game about careers, consequences, rivalries, and entire generations, we invite you to back the next stage of Boxing Dynasty Online.
We have built the foundation.
Now we want to bring its world to life.
