Hi, my name is Jeremiyah Jones. Since I was a child I was fascinated by Voltron and comic books. As my love for larger than life characters grew, I began to develop my talent to draw. When I was fourteen I saw the Power Rangers series and it inspired me. I wanted to create characters that were strong like the Power Rangers but were rooted somewhere between the magic of Voltron and the wonder of universe.
This was the birth of The Cosmic Knights. Twelve travelers who fell to the Earth, each blessed with symbiotic armor governed by a unique virtue. In times of great darkness the light of their armor combines into the god-like Adamus Perfectus. As outsiders to the Earth they hide their identities, all while fighting an encompassing evil called The Coruptus. Their story is woven throughout our own history. This story takes heavy inspiration from Zachariah Steichen and the ancient astronaut theory.
In 2013, I left the workforce full-time due to my mental illness symptoms related to Bipolar Disorder. Though there have been many ups and downs in life because of this challenge, I have learned to better manage this disability, and do not let Bipolar define who I am or what I can accomplish. I continue to tap into my creativity as a part of my ongoing recovery and hope to inspire others with mental health challenges to believe in their own abilities to achieve great things.
Being on SSI disability gives me just enough income to pay bills and keep a roof over my head, but does not allow for much of a surplus. Having a successful Crowdfunding campaign would help me to leverage the financial startup needed to finally bring my dream to life. The funding will pay a printer and also produce promotional material. If I am successful in my business plan and marketing efforts, I envision the profits of Issue 1 being able to parlay into production of subsequent issues, and eventually an entire Cosmic Knights franchise!
