By day, Dr. Julia Safra (Dare Taylor) is the velvet-voiced queen of late-night radio—a brilliant psychologist whose syndicated call-in show, Midnight Confessions, guides troubled listeners through their darkest desires. Her sultry calm and razor-sharp insight have made her a national sensation, a trusted voice in the shadows.
But when the “On Air” light goes dark, Julia lives by a far more dangerous philosophy: some problems can’t be talked through… they have to be eliminated.
Across the city, a string of brutal, meticulously staged murders begins to surface at a strip club ran by Julia's lesbian lover, Kim (Onyx).—each victim bearing an eerie connection to callers from Julia’s show. The police are baffled, the media is frenzied, and listeners grow obsessed with the idea that the killer might be hiding in plain soundwaves.
The tension starts to escalate when Michael Dane (Hunter Redfern), a former lover with a murky past, crashes Julia’s local book signing at a nearby book store. His sudden reappearance dredges up secrets Julia has buried for years—secrets tied to betrayal, obsession, and a night that was never meant to be remembered. Michael claims he knows the truth about her… but before he can expose anything, he vanishes.
Enter Detective Monique Sterling (Amber Lynn Benson), a seasoned investigator with a nose for psychological games. As she digs deeper, she becomes convinced that Julia is somehow orchestrating the murders—but the evidence never quite sticks. Drawn into her orbit, she finds herself both hunting and hypnotized by Julia, unsure whether she’s chasing a killer or falling into her trap?
Just as Yet. Sterling believes he’s closing in on the truth, she’s found dead—another victim in the growing body count.
Now the question grips the city:
Is Julia Safra a manipulator pulling strings from behind the
microphone…
or is someone else using her voice—and her past—as
the perfect cover?
