A ROCK FEELS NO PAIN
A DRAMEDY
written and directed by Dylan McCormick
*PREMIERING AS PART OF THE 2026 HOLLYWOOD FRINGE FESTIVAL
LOGLINE
An aging actor and his new costar find a real dead body on a crime show set, beginning an acting exercise that goes wildly off the rails.
WHY YOU SHOULD SUPPORT
'A Rock Feels No Pain' serves as an examination of a career in the arts, personal fulfillment, and the individual's interpretation of the meaning of life, celebrating the conviction it takes to make the choice to continue forward everyday in the face of adversity or fear and the beauty within that. We want to take a moment to thank all who have supported us thus far in this process and for your consideration and assistance in helping us bring this story to life.
OUR MISSION
Navigating life's challenging moments and existentialism can be difficult, which is why we aim to show with this project the effect outside support combined with inner strength and conviction can have on bettering our lives as a whole.
MEET THE TEAM
![]() | Dylan McCormick (director/writer) is a writer, director, actor, and singer originally from Holmen, Wisconsin. His first documented attempt at writing was an abandoned manuscript about orphans running away to 1848 to live in the woods written at age 11. After considerably more schooling, Dylan is pleased to present his first show to the world. He’d like to thank his parents for watching countless hours of cop procedurals and Simon and Garfunkel for their timeless songs. @dylanmccormick12
