OUR STORY
A Game Built Across Dimensions... And Across The World
Aethelria: Cross-Dimensions did not begin as a massive studio project with hundreds of developers and millions of dollars in funding.
It began as a passion project.
For years, the vision behind Aethelria has been to create a hero shooter where every character feels truly unique, where every weapon matters, and where players can become invested not only in gameplay, but in the worlds and heroes that make up the universe itself.
What makes this project special is that it has been built primarily by a solo developer driven by a passion for gaming, worldbuilding, and creating something that players can genuinely call their own.
Today, that vision has grown into a small but dedicated international development effort.
While the majority of the game has been created by a single developer, Aethelria is also supported by a team of six talented contributors from across the United States and around the world who assist with improvements, feedback, art, design, testing, technical support, optimization, and development enhancements.
Together, we share one goal:
To build a hero shooter that players will remember.
Not because it had the biggest budget.
But because it had the biggest heart.
THE WORLD OF AETHELRIA
Long before the first battle was fought, countless dimensions existed in isolation.
Each reality developed independently.
Each world created its own civilizations.
Its own heroes.
Its own monsters.
Its own legends.
And in every dimension, certain individuals became bonded to powerful artifacts known as Soul Weapons.
Soul Weapons are not ordinary weapons.
They are living extensions of their wielder's spirit.
Each Soul Weapon is unique.
Each possesses powers that reflect the personality, history, and destiny of its owner.
No two Soul Weapons are the same.
No two heroes fight alike.
For generations, the dimensions remained separated.
Until something began breaking reality itself.

THE FRACTURE
Without warning, dimensional barriers started collapsing.
Worlds that should never have touched began colliding.
Entire civilizations vanished.
Ancient kingdoms were swallowed by cosmic storms.
Advanced technological societies found themselves at war with magical empires.
Monsters crossed into foreign realities.
Heroes disappeared.
Reality itself began tearing apart.
This catastrophic event became known as:
The Fracture
As dimensional instability spread, champions from every reality were pulled into a growing conflict they barely understood.
Many sought answers.
Others sought power.

We want Aethelria to offer something more.
We want players to have favorite heroes not just because they are strong, but because they care about who those heroes are.
We want every Soul Weapon to have meaning.
Every dimension to have history.
