A Butler’s Job is an upcoming 2D animated short film being produced by a small team of college students, directed by Madison Arellano and  Faye Kennedy.

Premiering soon in the Spring of 2026.

A Butler’s Job follows Amos, the impeccably mannered butler to a sickly detective kidnapped by a seemingly nefarious vampiric organization. With his master incapacitated, Amos resolves to act. Armed with no detective training, no combat experience, and only an encyclopedic knowledge of tea and etiquette, he takes to the streets of London to unravel the mystery. If he can polish silverware to a shine, surely, he can shine some light on this case… right?

We're currently raising funds to support our film financially when it's time to submit to the festival circuits. As well as compensate our composer who's developing a complex score to have powerful emotional pivots to our high-energy and mysterious film. We also want to develop merchandise to be able to connect with our audience on a deeper level and share the love we have for the film with others who choose to support us.
