Here we go Frans! (Because to us, all of you are not just fans—you’re friends.) Welcome to the next evolution in all things Ethereal!

We have been laying low recently due to matters out of our hands, but we wanted to not only share what we are up to, but give you all the chance to help in this huge next step as we enter film production for Theater 7!

Theater 7 started as a hit comic book series. Out of that universe emerged Penny—a true fran favorite and one of the very few characters to star in two ongoing titles.

The movie is the next step for this iconic character. We are bringing everything you know and love from the comic book into the world of film with a dark, twisted edge. Think you know Penny? You don’t know the half of it.

‘When a depressed film buff takes a job at a reopening local theater, she finds herself trapped into a supernatural gauntlet of horror genres orchestrated by the undead theater owner - forcing her to evolve from a lost soul into the ultimate final girl.’

Why We Are Seeking Assistance

Bringing a feature film to life takes a village. We are launching this campaign to finalize all the beautiful pieces coming together in our ether—from our incredible lead cast to a proven multi-award-winning director taking the helm, alongside a screenplay written by a New York Times Bestselling ghostwriter.

Those pieces include: 

-Securing locations;
-Equipment;
-Cast and crew;
-All the bits and pieces needed to bring this to life!

We have been in communication with many professionals to come on board. This will allow us to secure their involvement. 

Planning to shoot in Southern Vermont next summer due to vast connections in the area, we look to utilize the beautiful area as well as the Latchis Theater in downtown Brattleboro.

A very large point is that will be a union film.

Sushii started out modeling until life lead her to acting. As time progressed, she now produces her own fetish and adult content under the name Sushii Xhyvette’s Roles. I’m sure there’s more; but we rather you find out for yourself… she’s on such a roll; you can go ahead and call her Sushii!

● Alyss Winkler

Alyss Winkler is an award winning actress based Louisville,KY with over 10 years of experience in the indie industry. She stars in lead role films such as Gush, Fatal Desires, Space Babes From Outer Space, Plankface,Violet, and The Embalmers. Her roles range from the serious to the silly in a wide variety of genres, such as horror, scifi, comedy, thriller, and action. On set she has taken many roles outside of being in the spotlight. Helping in other departments with makeup , special effects , art, set building, and even camera work. Never one to shy away from doing unusual roles or her own stunts, she brings her all to the set. Outside of her acting career she is a burlesque and sideshow performer, fire dancer, published model, and oddities artist. Using many skills from these in her acting career. Always striving to improve her work and dive into the next adventure.

● Mel Heflin

Mel Heflin is a veteran scream queen, voice artist, and producer whose career in independent film spans more than 130 credited acting projects. Appearing in films including Return of the Corn Zombies, Mrs Claus, Return to Splatter Farm, Darbie's Scream House and Night of the Dead Sorority Babes. Known for her fearless commitment to physically demanding, comedic, provocative, and wildly imaginative genre roles, she has become a recognizable presence within independent horror. Her work extends beyond acting into producing, directing, writing, voice performance, modeling and other facets of filmmaking, reflecting a deep understanding of the collaborative nature of independent film. Mel has her entire 15+ year career dedicated to independent horror cinema.

The Screenplay

Written by Brian Cochran, who has cut his chops as not only a New York Times Bestselling ghostwriter, but also someone with in-depth Hollywood experience.

Theater 7 and Penny

Theater 7 was created by Dustin Brunell a modern comic book writer and world creator with over half a decade publishing professionally. Dustin has over sixty published works to his name and leads a team of passionate creators under the Ethereal banner.
