On May 10 , 2010 on a busy day in Times Square , New York City , street vendors notices a driver parking in an illegal space and exits. Vendor/Veteran Lance Orton goes to inspect.. he notices smoke and attempts to call the driver. The driver runs off. Mr. Orton shouts to the huge crowd, Run! There's a bomb in the car........ He quickly alerts officers nearby on horseback... Other Vendors join in to inform other officers in the area. The police immediately shouts down Times Square.... Dwayne Johnson , Vendor/veteran tells the the media he was the one to alert the police. Lance Orton shares his story to let the world know that no one else was around to inform the police. Duane tells his side of this story in the documentary, The Times Square Car Bomb Hero. Two Heroes ? Someone saved many lives and a city from disaster.
All funders will receive credit as supporters and a film poster.
I will use the funds to complete the editing and pay for cinematographer to complete interviews.
Supporters will help to document a story that has not been to told and their names will become part of New York City's historical storytellers.
