Four years. That’s how long this story has been living in my head, evolving, and waiting for the right moment to swing into reality. Today, we finally take the first leap of faith. Spider-Man: A New Beat is a labor of love born from a simple "What if?" What if Miles Morales existed in the Earth-120703 universe—the world of Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man? 

As a massive fan of both Miles and the gritty, soulful atmosphere of the TASM films, I felt a calling to merge these two worlds. For a long time, I’ve dreamed of playing Miles Morales. While the future is unwritten, I knew one thing for certain: I wanted to create something meaningful, something dear to me, and something that honors the legacy of the wall-crawler.

 

Our story is finally ready to be brought to life, but we can't do it alone. We are launching a promotion campaign to fund this vision and ensure the quality matches the heart behind the script. Every contribution helps us with equipment, costuming, and the visual effects needed to make this "New Beat" feel authentic to the universe we love.

 

 

 

About Me

My name is Brandon Joshua, and I am a young Film Director/Writer/Actor and the founder of BJR Productions. Ever since I was a little boy, I've always been a big fan of and admired superheroes and comics. The superhero that always stood out to me the most was Spider-Man. At the age of ten, I would create home movies of myself as the character with my siblings using the software Windows Movie Maker (Which also helped spark my love for film). later, I got more involved with comics and admired the comic book character Miles Morales. He was relatable, he was everything I wanted in a superhero! and he even looked like me! Over the years I got more advanced with film and thought of the idea to put together a Miles Morales full length feature film (Inspired by the comics and The Amazing Spider-Man series). This film has been in planning and development for 4 years now and with your help, I can finally bring it to life. I want to put together a quality film like nothing that has ever been seen or done before. I have sooo much passion for this film, and a vision for this film that would make it LEGENDARY on screen. All I need is the help of you all and I promise, I won't disappoint. (This will be a Non Profit project fan film).

This non-profit film is an imagining of Miles Morales existing in the TASM verse. A passion project produced by a fan for the fans.

Have you ever thought about what it would be like if Miles Morales was in the TASM universe? What would his life be like in New York after Peter Parker's disappearance? How would he deal with his new powers? Spider-Man: A New Beat is a fan film that aims to answer these questions. It's not just another origin story; it's a heartfelt tribute to the dark, colorful, and emotional world created in The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and its sequel. In this story, we are following a Miles Morales who doesn't have a mentor to guide him right away. He is a teenager dealing with the challenges of his everyday life while trying to become a hero for a city that is losing hope without Spider-Man.
