The project will demonstrate to the world that radicals represent only a small fraction of Islam. By highlighting Ahmadou Bamba, a legendary hero for humanity who championed non-violent protest, it will help change negative perceptions of Muslims. Bamba's genius lay in his use of the true pillars of Islam, which he expressed in his prolific and glorious writings. Despite surviving numerous assassination attempts, forced exile, and imprisonment, Bamba's legend grew. He eventually received the highest honor from his captors and colonizers, the French. His life is filled with miraculous instances, including the founding of the holy city of Touba. Bamba's story is one of resilience, spirituality, and heroism, making him a significant figure for the world, Africans and the entire diaspora.
I,Jermaine Wells, was asked by Ahmadou's Great Grandson, Leader and Scholar Moustapha MBACKE and Scholar Dr. Cheikh Ndiaye to head up production. We aim to change negative Muslim stereotypes by highlighting Ahmadou Bamba, who led a successful non-violent resistance against French colonizers. As a Black American, I recognize the need for stories of pride and resilience. By collaborating with his descendants,(His Great grand sons and the current leadership) We will provide unprecedented access to his writings and artifacts, offering the public in-depth knowledge of this important historical figure. Bamba should be mentioned in the same breath as Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr.

This is Jermaine's third season hosting PBs's "TV/Film '' and he is an in demand host for several shows. He has been in over 100 commercials and print ads. Lastly, Jermaine prides his work with community organizations and nonprofits. Utilizing his talents, gift and abilities to help both younger and older persons.
African and Pan-African history is often altered or hidden, disconnecting African Americans from their roots and heroic figures. This lack of knowledge and celebration is detrimental to all people. I aim to create a resource documenting lesser-known exceptional heroes from the African Diaspora. The first in this series will be Ahmadou Bamba, the Saint from Senegal.
Each Contributor will receive a behind the scenes Documentary, copies and pictures of never before scene artifacts and blessings from the Muride brotherhood Leadership. Certain Levels of Sponsors will appear in the credits.
The funds raised will be used for travel to Senegal, hiring a production staff of mostly local Africans, filming, editing and distribution costs. Ultimately, profit sharing will help sustain and advance the Muridiyya infrastructure.
