"Swap Meet and Other Stories" starring Doggy and Dew is a 92-page graphic novel collection for all-ages written and illustrated by me, Ryan B.! Hand drawn and lettered and digitally colored in Clip Studio Paint.
Doggy and Dew first debuted in the mini-comic "Soggy Doggy: Smells Like Trouble" loosely inspired by my own life as a pet parent and all of the anxieties and adventures that come along with it.
Artemis, the main inspiration for Doggy:
This book will contain the main story, "Soggy Doggy, a 60+ page tale (or tail?) along with several shorter backup stories about Doggy and Dew's adventures, including the original Soggy Doggy story that started it all!
The book is 99% done. It's all drawn, it's all colored. It's laid out. It's coming out no matter what. But this Crowdfundr campaign is a great way for you to pre-order and for me to help get the word out!
I want to keep things simple.You can get the book, and you can also get some extra goodies if you want. That includes prints, stickers, sketches, and my other comics.
I plan on keeping it softcover, but if things happen to go well enough maybe hardcover will be a stretch goal.
There is very little risk with this project beyond unforeseen delays on the production end of things. The book is done and ready to print. It will be coming out no matter what. But this campaign will help and allow me an easier way to offer multiple options and extras.
