Shannon Spence hasn't added a story.
The blood pacts we make to get through the day.
The Comix Accountability Club returns with its second annual anthology, and this time, it's steeped in superstition.
The rumors around the circle are that this online indie comics community is once again crafting unique stories and brewing up original illustrations to pack their anthology to the brim with toil and trouble.
We are excited to announce that we have two more thrilling stories joining the anthology!
See the list below for our final cultists joining us for over 100 pages of original artwork and comics, straight from the Comix Accountability Club!
Including these tales of ritual:
- The Bell Tolls for Thee by Whitney Wu
- A Feel Better Ritual by Genisus Hess
- The House That Stood Tall by John "Hoss" Taylor
- A Samhain Feast by Emily Wigglesworth
- The Wee Witches' Club by Jordan Moller
- The Roman Spring of Jack Lundone by Naught Noir (Rich Trash)
- Challah and Hex by Erez Asken
- Truffle Hunt by Peri Pendrake
- Hex Hag by Ryan B.
- I Want What the Dead Have by Kyle Kerezsi
- My Neighbor the Occultist by Sarah Chu
- Cyber Resurrection written by Patrick Hayes and illustrated by Dom Monette
- Star Crossed Lovers by Micah Liesenfeld, colored by Kathy DeLoria
- Bark for me Bae by A.I. Miller, colored by Filipa Estrela
- Untitled by Maddie Sackett
You can make this project... reanimate! Support an independent community.
Your contribution will fund the production of the book, copies for the artists involved, and the CAC Mini-grant, an annual award for cartoonists in our group of 100+ members to fund self-published comics projects and continue to work independently.
Follow us on Instagram for updates on this project and to discover what our group is working on. This is the biggest project of the year for us, and we are hitting the ground running after our first anthology was a huge success!
When you support the Comix Accountability Club Anthology, here is what to expect:
- 100+ pages of original stories and artwork surrounding the occult and unique rituals
- Become a Sorcerer to receive a digital copy
- Become a Conjuror to receive a bright and bold full-color, expansive 8.5" x 11" book, glossy cover and perfect-bound, PLUS a holographic beetle sticker
- Become an Alchemist and receive all of the above PLUS and exclusive two-color, 8" x 10" risograph print illustrated by Graham McCarthy
- Become a Necromancer to receive all of the above PLUS an original piece of artwork of your choosing
- All of your proceeds go directly towards the cost of production, club support, and the CAC Mini-Grant fund
This book will go to print in February 2024, with a projected shipment date of March 2024.
Thank you so much for your support! Feel free to contact us with
any questions, and follow our campaign for updates!
