Hey Friends!

For those that are new and don’t know me personally, my name is Brooke! I am finally ready to share my story and what has gone on in my life the last few years. Only, I want to share it in the form of song!

My life took a radical turn a few years ago when my then-husband abandoned our family which left me with devastation, debris, and betrayal. Out of this desperate place, songs began to come and for the first time, my own melodies started to pour out of me.

All of these songs were written in real time throughout my separation and divorce. They are windows into moments I have had with the Lord and life altering experiences. My grief and demanding life pressed me up against a wall and forced me to face my loss, sorrow of a shattered marriage, broken family, and in this I learned how to be present with God.

We struggle, especially as Christians, with how to lament, how to be honest with God through our mess and still reach for Him in faith. These songs are glimpses into those raw conversations I have had with Him.

I’ve written an album that represents pieces of my story and finding hope through tragedy. There is power in being seen, heard, and known in the unsettled trying times of life. I was able to put pain to pen, paper, and song. It feels like I pulled the ache and venom out of my heart and brought it to music. It has been a deeply healing and vulnerable process for me. I hope these songs bring comfort to others who are walking through the same kind of hurt and trying to find words for what they feel.

📀What I need

This is where you come in. After much time and dipping my toes into the music industry I have learned recording an album requires a lot of financial funding.This is truly only possible with the support and backing of those around me. To bring this album to life, including recording, mastering, distribution, and everything in between, I will need to raise around $50,000. I know that might sound like a lot, but it’s actually a pretty conservative budget for a full-length album.

⚙️The Plan and Process

Rather than running multiple smaller fundraisers, I’d love to invite everyone to come together for this one campaign to help make this album happen. That way, we can walk through the whole journey together from start to finish without flooding your feed with new campaigns every few months. This makes it possible to move the project forward faster, without stretching out the timeline or adding unnecessary costs.

The songs are written and ready. Now it’s time to bring this album to life. This means raising money to help fund the producers who have expressed interest in professionally recording the album. Every dollar raised will go straight into the making of the full length album.This includes covering studio time, producers, musicians, mixing, mastering, and distribution. Once the campaign is completed I will be scheduling time to record, mix and master the album. Once that is finished we move onto creative artwork, copyrighting, distribution, preparing the album for release so it’s ready to be heard, and then ultimately shareable to you!

❤️My Heart and Vision

My hope is that this album reaches the hurting, the broken, and those who are trying to process life and heal, so honestly, everyone . I want to reach people who are struggling to connect with Jesus in their pain, or who just want to be near Him. I want to offer what I needed most in my own dark season: connection, honesty, and encouragement from others' stories. I found strength through songs and truth that reminded me I wasn’t alone and that God was still present in the middle of it all.

If this project doesn’t reach its goal, an opportunity to share what God has planted in me during this season will be missed. These songs are my conversations with Him, raw, honest, and healing, and I know they weren’t just meant for me.

I want to serve others the way I’ve been loved and carried by the Lord and by people in my own journey. As a counselor and worshiper, I love walking with others through pain and bringing hope into dark places. This album came from a place of deep heartbreak and transformation. Without that season, these songs wouldn’t have been written. My prayer is that it will become something beautiful and life-giving for others too. That’s what this album is about, meeting people in their circumstances and helping them find Jesus right where they are. I’m so encouraged by what God has already done and excited to see how He will continue to provide through this next step.
