My name is Mista Pakman Dangerou$ (Dion Florence), an indie rap artist hailing from the vibrant city of Sacramento, CA. My journey through life has been anything but ordinary, and my passion for music is rooted in my experiences and the challenges I've faced. I am reaching out to you for support to help me realize my dream of making a significant impact in the music industry through my unique story and unwavering passion for hip-hop.
Growing up, my life was full of hardships. My parents had me at a young age, and for the early part of my life, I was raised by my grandmother until I was seven. Living in Sacramento, I faced numerous challenges, from dealing with my mother's abuse to navigating life in the urban neighborhoods of the city. Despite these obstacles, I discovered my love for music, inspired by my father, a former recording artist known as Skitzo Thee Incredible.
My true interest in music began at the age of eleven. Listening to my father's music during my brief reunions with him instilled in me a passion for hip-hop. By the age of thirteen, facing an abusive environment, I chose to leave my mother's house and live with friends. This period was filled with struggles, from dealing with illegal activities to facing juvenile detention. However, it was also a time of self-discovery, where I honed my poetry skills and developed a passion for writing and freestyling.
Upon my release from juvenile detention and completion of a rehab program, I vowed to transform my life. Music became my lifeline, and I knew I wanted to share my story to inspire others, just as Tupac Shakur's music had done for me. In 2006, my father included me in his group, Blackwolvez, a family-based rap group, and we released our first album in 2008. Despite its initial lack of success, my dedication to preserving our musical legacy never wavered.
In 2018, recognizing that traditional low-paying jobs weren't aligning with my aspirations, I decided to take control of my destiny by starting my own record label, Full Moon Recordz. The journey was tough, marked by homelessness and mental health struggles, but I persisted. By 2022, I secured stable housing and social security benefits, allowing me to focus on my passion. I successfully trademarked Blackwolvez for clothing and pursued further trademarks for my music and merchandise.
With the right support, I plan to expand Blackwolvez and Full Moon Recordz, create quality music videos, and explore ventures in film. My latest project, "PMD" (Pak Man Dangerou$) by Mista Pakman Dangerou$ and the new Blackwolvez album "Cali Mob Muzik," showcase my evolution as an artist. I believe in giving back to the community and discovering talented individuals like myself to create a legacy that rivals major labels like Universal Music Group.
