We are raising funds to stage the world premiere of “Uprooted” in New York City in October 2023.

In this transcendent, stirring, and heartbreaking play, a group of women from different cultural backgrounds come together to tell their own stories, the stories from our past and the stories from the future we wish to build. They learn that we must stand for each other - especially for the women who are simply trying to survive the choices of others.

This play is about more than just feminism. This play delves into the realities of the female experience and how, even across cultures, we have more similarities than we do differences. Every woman is celebrated here regardless of nationality, race, ethnicity, age, who you love, etc. 

We must produce this play because there are none quite like it. This play is a fever dream, a mystical séance, an adventure, a comedy, a tragedy, and everything in between. It ignores convention and gets to the root of what makes us a global community: our relationships with each other.
