West Hawk Tapes is a multi-platform hip-hop label based out of Campbell River on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. Our goal is to create and nurture connections and collaboration between Hip Hop musicians and Spoken Word artists in Canada, Nigeria, South Africa, Botswana, and Zimbabwe.

Our current fundraiser has the modest goal of 1,000$, half of which will set up artist SZN, a 20 year old musician living in Francistown, Botswana with a proper microphone for home studio recording , the other half will go towards sending 3 artists from our brother label PsychxGeneration Records in Welkom, South Africa, into a professional studio for three days to record new demos.

No fees, no splits, no cut for the label: this money is going straight into the hands of enterprising young musicians with whom I am building a creative network of extraordinary possibilities.
