In 2007 I was diagnosed with an illness called Congestive Heart Failure. I continued to work a job with this diagnosis for 13 years until I my condition worsened and I could no longer work. I currently rely on SSDI to support my wife, Tina, and I. We are both 57 years of age. This, though, is not a plea for a handout but a gracious appeal for an opportunity to once again support myself and my wife independently of any help from government entities.

See, I have been complimented numerous times, by total strangers, about the pleasant sound of my voice. The question has always been, "have you ever thought of getting into radio?" The answer to that question has always been that I used to work for the former Christian radio station, WHLO, as an on-air personality and I also,  produced a radio broadcast for a small church. I believe that I have the voice and experience to make a living, a very lucrative living, in the Voiceover/voice actor field of work (Just in case you don't know what that is, it's, making commercials and radio spots and such). The sky is the limit in this field, and there are so many facets of this industry that one could definitely be a success in; that is, if you're willing to put the work into it, and I am willing. I've been throwing this idea around for many years and I decided it was time to put my voice to good use. Well I need a high-end laptop that is specific to voiceover work and I need to build  a recording booth (DIY) that will give me the quality sound that my future clients will require of me.
