There will never be enough words to thank the people who made this movie happen, what the skeleton cast & crew did was insane.

Our scant shooting schedule of 12 days, got winnowed down to 9; we shot an intense, hour and forty minute, family drama in 9 days. It was nothing short of Herculean. There was no time for lingering on a scene, it was grab and run. Did we always get the shot I wanted, not even close, but it didn't matter, the storytellers on both sides of the camera worked in tandem and made a compelling and moving drama. You'd think I'd be over it by now, after seeing the same scenes countless times in the editing process, but the cast still moves me to tears. They're phenomenal.

At this point the story is done, but along with the micro schedule came a micro budget that's drained, and the post production sound engineering, colorizing, and masking still need to be done. I'm not looking for the generous souls who supported this crazy idea through Crowdfundr when I first published this campaign, the goal now is to entice a production company/streaming channel/investor to pick the movie up. To finish it will take approx. 20 to 30 thousand. 

So I'm re-mounting the campaign for $20,000, but it's target audience is people already in the industry, or someone wanting to get into it with a splash.

Synopsis

Time Apart, is a family drama about twin sisters, who've been estranged for five years, coming home with their respective families for their father's funeral. An emotional rollercoaster ensues when their mother dies the day after the funeral. A dark family secret is revealed and broken relationships, from years of matriarchal abuse, start the process of healing.
