What Is Pelogos?
Pelogos is a multiplayer tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG) for 2 or more players (including the GM, known as the Navigator) where you play as a paranormal investigator known as a Lantern Keeper, or as a sea ghost known as an Echo. With your abilities, you help the living come to terms with the loss of their loved ones, whether that's through delivering a message, or learning more about their own past.
The Mercī is the Sea of Dreams and Innovation, the method by which the people of this world utilize their creative energies to make something new. Every single innovation in this world is due to The Mercī, which also means any form of creative blockage is also caused by it as well. The Mercī changes in response to the presence of its denizens, but also by the actions of Lantern Keepers. Utilize your powers to find the information you need, and return to the waking world before anything can go wrong.

*The long production period is to account for the fact that I, Basil, have multiple disabilities and chronic illnesses. This expanded time period will allow me to work on the game without causing any health flare-ups (hopefully!).
Stretch Goals
$3000 - Researcher Mode!
I'll create a single-player version of Pelogos that allows you to research sea monsters that dwelt in The Mercī during The Maelstrom Age! Interact with NPCs exclusive to that time period, from Lantern Keepers, to Echoes, and influential government figures as well!
$3500 - Frame of Mind: O Captain!
This will add a Sea Story to Pelogos that's compatible with Leon Barillaro and Scott Bullock's O Captain system! (Note that the O Captain SRD won't be available until May 2023, but this will be released to backers as a free update.)
$4000 - Frame of Mind: MANTLE!
Another Sea Story, this one for Glass Greatsword Games' MANTLE! This will be released to backers as a free update to Pelogos.
$4500 - Basil Gets Paid!
If we reach this goal, I can pay myself for working on this project after taxes and fees.
