I'm an artist, writer, and poet with a passion for exploring the unseen and the spiritual. For the past 13 years, I've embarked on a profound journey, one that has allowed me to experience and interpret what lies beyond the veil—what is known in Islam as the "hijab." This journey, filled with moments of deep spiritual insight, has inspired my latest project: a solo exhibition and an art book titled "Beyond the Veil: My True Name."

About the Project:

"Beyond the Veil" is not just an art exhibition—it is an invitation to experience a journey that transcends the visible and enters the realms of spiritual knowing. Through my paintings, writing, and poetry, I aim to share the divine encounters and God-given insights that have shaped my path. This is a collection of truths whispered through the heart that I now wish to share with a broader audience.

The exhibition is set to take place in Bari, Italy, where my art will be displayed in a gallery space that offers a serene and reflective atmosphere. The accompanying art book will feature 200 copies, filled with my paintings, poetry, and reflections—each page offering a glimpse into this transformative experience. It’s a chance to hold a piece of this journey in your hands and perhaps to see a little beyond the veil yourself.

Why I Need Your Support

Putting together an exhibition of this scale, especially internationally, comes with many costs. Your support will help cover:

• Gallery fees and the curator who will help present my work in the best light.

• Framing costs for hundreds of artworks.

• Airfare, visa, and passport fees for my travel from Indonesia to Italy.

• Shipping costs for transporting my artworks safely to Italy.

• Book production costs, including working with a publisher to create a high-quality art book.

• Accommodation for three weeks in Italy, so that I can be present to connect with those who attend the exhibition and make this a truly immersive experience.

• Challenge: Coordinating the international shipment of artworks from Indonesia to Italy is a complex process that may face delays or unexpected customs issues.

• Plan: I am working closely with a reputable shipping company that specializes in handling fine art, and I have allocated extra time in my project schedule to accommodate potential delays.

2. Production Delays for Art Book:

• Challenge: The process of designing, printing, and producing the art book involves several steps that could take longer than expected, such as quality control or issues with the publisher.

• Plan: I have built additional time into the production schedule to allow for revisions, and I will keep all backers updated on the progress to ensure transparency.

3. Budget Overruns:

• Challenge: Costs such as framing, travel expenses, or gallery fees could exceed the initial estimates.

• Plan: I’ve included a contingency fund in the budget to help manage any unexpected expenses. Additionally, I am seeking local sponsorships in Italy to help offset some of the costs.
