Hi my name is Zach Perkins and I am the director of "Throw Me Away." I am currently a student at Austin Community College and this film is not only a passion project but an assignment. In order to achieve the look, tone, setting and overall feeling of this film and the sci-fi world it inhabits I, with the help of my team, am trying to crowdfund. I know the world is literally on fire so anything you can give helps us out greatly. Thank you and I look forward to creating this film for you to enjoy. 

The story is a simple one set in a complex world. Its the future and death is no longer an issue. People have been "passing" loved ones for generations now and when ADAM finds his brother SAM dead its the first thing on his mind. Except Sam's last words to Adam in the form of a note say not to upload him. Things get even more complicated when Adam begins to suspect that Sam was murdered.

While the story is small, its only a 10 page script, myself and the team have high ambitions for it. We have never worked with a real budget on a film and yet my team and I have produced 10 films in under a year so imagine what we could do with the goal money. (I know we are) So what is the money going to well firstly location costs takes the biggest chunk, unfortunately you cant just film anywhere for free. After that paying the cast and crew, we plan on having 3 back to back to back shooting days and I want people compensated for their hard work. Finally people gotta eat and food is not cheap for a team of 12.
