Hello, Hello!
We all love a good story that we can connect with: a compelling plot with relatable characters that entertain and inspire. I have something to offer that checks all the boxes and more! I'm Abby, the indie film writer, director, producer, and casting director of Abby's Road Films based in the Richmond, VA area. I wrote a screenplay that my actors and I think you will truly enjoy. It's called The Ladybugz; a comedy-drama about a bad-to-the-bone high school student named Jennifer in 1960s England with a big dream: to start her own all-girl rock band! And this band is special--they will remind you of a world-famous supergroup we love:
The Beatles!
I've been a Beatles fan for decades. Their music, history, personalities, humor, looks, and variety of talents have always intrigued me. I wanted to write a story that paid homage to their greatness, and decided to pen an original concept screenplay in 2022 about a similar band; but all female. This screenplay will make you laugh, cry, sing along, feel nostalgic, and identify with every character. I mean it when I say there is something for everyone in this story. Are you excited? We sure are! We have a talented cast of rising stars who are Oscar and Emmy-worthy. Many big stars of today got their start in indie films, so you should check us out. We want to film this long-awaited series.

Making a film is a fascinating and involved process. Trying to describe it doesn't fully explain all that it is.
