Hi, I'm James, the founder of Lumi Solutions, a Tulsa-based tech company dedicated to providing affordable and reliable hosting through our brand Lumi Host, along with web design and soon, we hope, internet services. We're passionate about building a strong tech presence right here in Tulsa and deeply committed to giving back to our community. This campaign is crucial for us to secure a physical office space and essential equipment, enabling us to expand our operations, create local jobs, and ultimately launch our vision for a tech-focused non-profit that supports Tulsa's growth and addresses local needs like homelessness and food insecurity. Your contribution, at any level, will lay the foundation for this vision to become a reality for Tulsa! We also server anyone and everyone no matter where you are, you don't have to be in Tulsa!

What We Need & What You Get:

We are seeking $150,000 or more to secure a physical office space in Tulsa and purchase the necessary equipment to expand our services. Specifically, these funds will be allocated to:

35% - Office Space: Covering the down payment and initial leasehold improvements for a space that can house our servers and team.

30% - Equipment: Investing in new server hardware, networking equipment, and workstations to enhance our hosting capabilities and prepare for future internet service offerings.

35% - Initial Setup & Operational Costs: Covering the initial costs of setting up the office and ensuring smooth operations.

Fostering Community Support: Our long-term vision includes establishing a non-profit dedicated to supporting the growth of Tulsa's tech industry and giving back to the community through initiatives focused on homelessness and food security. We will also be donating and offering cheap services to businesses and individuals in the Tulsa Area. We believe you shouldn't have to pay more for something just because you are a business! We will also be donating tech and money to schools and other non profits, as well as community events to help low income families be able to get the tech they need to live in today's society.  By supporting us now, you're helping us build the foundation for these impact-ful future endeavors.

Risks & Challenges:

Like any growing business, we anticipate potential challenges. Finding the ideal office space in Tulsa that meets our technical requirements and budget may take time. There could also be unforeseen delays in equipment procurement or setup. Entering the internet service provider market, if we pursue that path, will involve navigating regulations and competition. We also anticipate a bit of a delay getting our network setup. We have to have 2 dedicated fiber lines, and that takes a few weeks to get installed and setup will be a bit longer after that. We also expect some downtime of there are outages. We expect to also have backup generators in case any of that happens. 

However, we are well-prepared to overcome these hurdles. We have already successfully launched and managed our web hosting services under Lumi Host. We are committed to thorough research, careful planning, and building strong relationships with reliable vendors to mitigate potential risks. Our dedication to serving the Tulsa community will drive us to find creative solutions and persevere through any challenges we may face.
