Dear friends, I need your help!

I am a volunteer who organizes charity events to support our defenders. Recently, I organized a volleyball tournament to raise funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Unfortunately, during the tournament, I suffered a severe knee injury. The injury turned out to be so serious that I now require urgent surgery.

According to the MRI results, the diagnosis is as follows:

1. Fracture:

   • MRI shows an impression subchondral fracture of the lateral femoral condyle.

2. Ligament tears:

   • Complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
   • Partial rupture of the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL).
   • Tear of the medial collateral ligament (grade II).
   • Tear of the lateral collateral ligament (grade II).

3. Meniscus damage:

   • Tear of the anterior horn of the lateral meniscus.

4. Dislocations and soft tissue damage:

   • Lateral dislocation of the kneecap.
   • Partial tear of the patellar ligament.
   • Detachment of the tendons of the medial and lateral heads of the gastrocnemius muscle at their attachment to the femur.
   • Damage to the medial and lateral heads of the gastrocnemius muscle at the musculotendinous junction.

5. Swelling and inflammation:

   • Edema of the infrapatellar fat pad (contusion-related).
   • Ligamentitis of the quadriceps tendon.
   • Synovitis (inflammation of the joint lining).
   • Swelling of the soft tissues in the knee area (prepatellar, suprapatellar, and infrapatellar regions).
   • Fluid accumulation in the knee joint, suprapatellar, and infrapatellar bursae.

This complex set of injuries significantly limits my mobility. Doctors emphasize that without urgent surgery, there is a high risk of losing the ability to walk.

The cost of the surgery is $5,000, of which I have managed to save only $2,000.
