My entire life has been built up on creativity. Wether it be music, art, performance, crafting, or in the case of "Bad Things With Goblins", all of the above and more. They say you should "Pick a lane" in life, but when it comes to art, I would rather not. 

Bad Things with Goblins (BTWG) began as a way for me to work on a musical Project while my band took hiatus. The concept was simple. I record a solo project playing all instruments myself, build puppets much to the likes of the muppets and other puppet related media, and use those puppets to represent the band via music videos and web content. Then the idea grew. 

I recorded an entire mixed genre album ranging from ska to metal to hip hop and jazz. I built seven Goblin puppets and they took on their rightful personas as any characters in a performance piece should. I treat them as if they were a true entity. They have their own social media platforms, they have their own personalities, and most importantly, they have their own stories and marketable content. 

Aside from the music and music videos, my goal is to branch these characters out into a braud array of multi media  pursuits 

I have begun filming pilot episodes of a BTWG tv show, A line of BTWG comic books is in the works, a strategy card game, web series, performance art in the form of live concert puppetry backed by real musicians, video content such as interview shows with real artists, BTWG podcasts, cooking segments, nature shows, and history lessons all in a humorous and zanily adorable Goblin package.  and of course, theres the merchandise.

These characters easily grab your attention and provide a visual esthetic perfect for multi marketing in any conceivable way from BTWG clothes and gear, to lighters, plushies, bed sheets posters, and of course, puppets. 

The colorful, wacky, crude, lovably violent band of goblins make their way across the globe spreading music and chaos wherever they go. Be it in their fast pace chaotic yet professionally composed music, or In their low brow slapstick routines on camera, Bad Things with Goblins can and will undoubtedly serve as a new age Henson enterprise for those who lean more towards the dark, mischievous and all around crude side of theatrical multi media enterprise. 

Why do I need funding? And why can't I do it myself? 

I have been doing music and art for years and have made a considerable list of networked connections ranging from television reps, musical engineers, cinematographers, claymation artists, venue and tour promoters, merchandise producers of all sorts, visual artists, advertisers, celebrity endorsers and of course, a respectable starting audience. 

What does this mean? It means that I have put in the work. I've made the connections. I've made the music, and I've made the puppets. Now I need to raise funds to put it all into play. 

This means social media ads, this means hiring camera crews and stage hands for puppeteering, editors for the series, artists for the comics, material for backdrops, green screens, cameras, review/blog/ad placements, mixing and mastering engineers as well as studio costs, production of merch, as well as the comics, card games, CDs and vinyls of the album, Spotify and apple music placements, venue pay to plays, radio submissions, television exec pitches, animators cartoonists and claymation artists, and many other countless expenses. 

I am a father of two baby girls working full time as a janitor. I spend my mornings and afternoons with my kids, evenings cleaning schools, and nights tirelessly crafting and recording. I truly believe in myself and my ability to create a franchise that Is both as lucrative as it is entertaining. 

The hilarious antics of the goblins, paired with their visually appealing esthetic, easy to film video structure as well as a growing plethora of genuinely well crafted and professional music, this franchise serves to profit in every artistic field. 

I have released 4 albums under my own name, I have attended school for communications technology where I excelled during my time there, I am an accomplished vocalist, MC, composer and multi instrumentalist. I've had small roles in multiple hip hop television series aired on Roku and amazon tv, and I have written and self published 3 novels under my name. 

I have the ability to create something both amazing and profitable. I simply do not have the expendable income to further myself in the unrelenting reality of "you gotta spend money to make money". I refuse to accept being a janitor my entire life. A career in creative arts and multi media is my destiny, but misfortune, circumstance as well as the blessings of my children have always been my biggest hindrance.
