Kreachur Kichin is an upcoming 2D animated SCAD capstone film premiering Spring 2026.

Set in a secluded woodland atelier, the film follows Garthim Grimmsey, an exhausted young chef struggling to regain the creativity that once fueled his success. As sleepless nights blur his reality, Garthim becomes convinced he’s not alone. Soon, a troupe of mischievous, magical creatures creeps into his kitchen, turning everything upside down.

What starts as chaos becomes a whirlwind of culinary play and imaginative collaboration. The monsters twist, mix, and transform ingredients in unexpected ways, helping Garthim rediscover the joy he’s been missing. When dawn arrives, the creatures quietly clean the kitchen and slip back into the forest, leaving Garthim with inspired recipes, a clear workspace, and a renewed creative spark.

We are raising funds to hire a classical composer who can capture the charm and whimsy of early animation, as well as a professional sound designer to craft the film’s unique soundscape. Additional support will go toward post-production, promotional materials, and festival submissions.
