Let the Lights On is a ministry that God put on my heart with the mission to shine the light on the dark places in life. With a passion to connect with others and to write, I began a blog on substack with the mission of daring to be a beacon of light, and audaciously encouraging others to shine their light; Matthew 5:14-16. I believe that we all have story to share, and when we open up and share our stories, shine our light, this encourages others to shine their light too.

Let the Lights On is an emerging space where I want to create space for others to share their stories, and step into their own light, breaking free from shame, guilt, and regrets of their past. I truly believe that Let the Lights On will be a space for people of all backgrounds, cultures, and multi- generations to connect and learn from each other's stories- through writing, storytelling, and videography. It all begins when we dare to stop settling for living with a flickering flame in a cold dark room, and we dare to step into the light.

Supporting Let the Lights On will further support my writing and help me to expand the mission of the this ministry through the start up of a podcast. Let the Lights On is a mission that I feel led by God to pour into and build out. I truly believe many will be set free from the stories shared on the blog, and eventually the podcast when I receive the funds to purchase filming equipment (e.g., a camera, lighting, etc.).
