I created Mechanaflux to tell a fun fantasy story inspired by cartoons and anime.  Now, after many years, the story is finally complete, and I can show the world the final issue, the entire story of, Mechanaflux.  This is Mechanaflux #6, the final issue of Maria and Cory's adventure against the scourge of the mechanical despot Gaudra.

STORY

Previously:  Cory, Arad, and Jackson fell into Mechanaflux by accident, and quickly found themselves attacked my towering robots called Mecheers.  They were saved by Maria, a sword-fighting princess, Darius, the last sorceress, and Gluss, the centaur commander.  Just when it seemed like it was over, Redwing, a near-sited dragon, swooped in and saved them from certain death.

Once back at the city of Flux, not only did Maria and Cory find out they were long-lost siblings, but Gaudra's Mecheers attacked.  Cory had brought half of an amulet back into this world, and now that both pieces were in Flux, Gaudra could sense them, and tried to prevent their unification.

Now, after many an adventure, Maria and Cory find themselves the only ones left standing when they arrive in front of Gaudra.  But, Gaudra has created an amulet that feeds off negative emotions.  Maria and Cory are now inside a reality of their own making, living an extreme, and dark, fantasy.  Can anything save them from giving into their own temptations, and in doing so, become unable to use their own amulet, or will Gaudra create a mechanical paradise devoid of all human life?

FUNDS

I am the writer of Mechanaflux, and funds are needed to pay artists for the art of the comic itself.  The total cost of Mechanaflux #6 is slightly over $2,000.00, but I am asking for $1,000.00, because it is an acceptable level or risk to try and accomplish for crowdfunding.

ISSUE STATUS

Issue #6 is finished; all the art and speech balloons are finished, and all payments have been made to the artist.  I printed some copies for SPX, but they had many text errors and needed correcting.  I am currently having to learn Clip Studio, Fonts, and Speech Bubbles to finish fixing the files.  They then need to be submitted to the printers so I can order 1 copy for review, to check for any more errors.  Once I am happy with the final project, I will print final copies for backers, and then have print-on-demand and digital copies available for people to order on KaBlam/IndyPlanet.

FUTURE
