My wife and I moved to Victoria, British Columbia 20 years ago and I was drawing a comic strip called Roach Town  for a local community newspaper, the Village Vibe.   There were many crows in the Fernwood neighbourhood where we lived, so I started drawing comics with my son about crows.

Then one day I was drawing a bunch of different comic crow characters and out of the blue, I drew ROCKET CROW!… a full blown space hero... and it just suggested a whole other world for me!  

Since then I have done I have done a half dozen ROCKET CROW mini comic books!  I am launching this Crowdfundr project to raise funds for creating another series of ROCKET CROW mini comics, and compiling all of them into a graphic novel sized publication! A $30 pledge will get you copy of the final compilation comic book!

(Roach Town is an offshoot of the Slum Dog comic strip I drew for the Montreal Mirror weekly paper in the 90's.  I continue to draw Roach Town and will include some of those comics in the final graphic novel!)
