CAT: A Little Game about Little Heroes is the classic RPG about housecats protecting their owners from monsters their owners can't see. I designed it for family play: simple enough for children to easily understand, and robust enough to challenge experienced players.
You take the role of a cat who can see invisible things, has magic powers, and protects dumb humans from monsters like Bloody Mary, the Boogeyman, and other scary things. They also travel through dreams and protect us there.
The system is simple: roll a number of six-sided dice, and every "even" is a success. The players use successes to narrate the outcomes of their actions.

STEP 1: PDF
This campaign runs for 14 days. You send $20 and IMMEDIATELY get the PDF at the end of the campaign.
Backers can send me feedback on typos and other errors which I will be correcting. The timeline for this feedback is 14 days.
STEP 2: PRINT AND SHIPPING
After I make corrections, I need to order another proof. Once that gets approved, it's time for you to get your book.

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT THAN YOUR PAST CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGNS?

For this campaign, I'm keeping things simple. Rather than promise stretch goals and add ons, I'm only funding the book. As I said earlier, CAT is already complete. It has been edited, laid out and ready to print. You are not helping fund a project that will be finished sometime in the future, you are funding a project that is ready to go now.
I have also designed this crowdfunding campaign to be as simple as possible. You get the PDF, you can order a copy of the book. I don't manage shipping, handling, or anything else.
