What’s in the book?
Thanks, Again! is filled with hundreds of staff recognition tips, tools and techniques, which are divided into 30 themes, plus a bonus section of more than 100 tips that didn’t fit any of the themes but were too good to leave out.
Each theme begins with a brief introduction (as short as a sentence but no longer than a few paragraphs), followed by relevant ways to recognize staff, most of which are succinct (although a few did need to be longer).

Who am I?
For
more than two decades, I have been writing and speaking about how to
hire, engage and retain the right people.
In 2011, I published Thanks! GREAT Job! Improve Retention, Boost Morale and Improve Engagement with High-Value, Low-Cost Staff Recognition.
Thanks, Again! is my second book filled with tips on how to thank staff members, co-workers and even the boss for what they do.
FAQs
When do you expect that Thanks, Again! will be published? Thanks, Again! will officially be launched in the fall, but supporters of this campaign will receive their book prior to the launch date.
What if you do not reach your funding goal? The publication of Thanks, Again will happen. We will find a way.
What will you do if you raise more than your fundraising target of $12,750? If I exceed this fundraising goal, I will be able to create a Staff Recognition Journal, which will be available for purchase.
Is shipping included in the price of books and other perks?. Shipping costs will be added at checkout. The number of pages and size of the book were considered when writing the book to minimize shipping costs.
Where can I use the coffee card? Your choice: Second Cup, Tim Hortons or Starbucks.
I would like to have more than five people attend the webinar. Can I get extra copies of Thanks, Again? Additional copies of Thanks, Again! can be purchased at a 20 per cent discount, plus shipping and taxes.
What are the workshop topics? You have a choice from three workshops: Staff Recognition: One Piece at a Time, Improve Staff Retention Without Spending Buckets of Money, or Interview Right to Hire Right. All are intended to be half or full-day programs.
What are the convention/conference keynote topics? There are several possibilities related to staff recognition and hiring. If you are interested, please contact me to identify what’s best for your organization or association.
How can I get more information before I commit to a workshop or keynote presentation? Send me an email (nmscott@telus.net) or use this calendar to schedule a telephone conversation.
When can I schedule a webinar, keynote program or on-site training workshop? Will these only be available after the book is published? The scheduling of programs is not dependent on the publication of Thanks, Again! If you choose to schedule your program before the book is published, you will be sent your books as soon as they are available.
Is the speaker’s travel and accommodation included in the price for the convention sessions and on-site training workshops? The price does not include the speaker’s travel and accommodation, which will be arranged in consultation with you.
Will webinars, workshops and keynote presentations be customized for my organization? Prior to your workshop, keynote or webinar, I will schedule a conversation to learn more about your organization, the challenges you are facing and any questions you wish answered during your program.
What if I want to have more than 20 people attend one of the workshops? The regular price for workshops is $175 per participant, with a minimum of 20 participants (i.e., $3,500). For this promotion, the charge for additional participants is $97. This is a reduction of 45 percent.
